Role Summary:
The Luxury Residential Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining apartments and associated areas to an exceptional standard of cleanliness, presentation, and care. The role is focused on delivering a discreet, tailored, and high-quality service to residents, ensuring every interaction and task is carried out promptly, professionally, and with great attention to detail. Working in line with HME policies and procedures, the postholder will help create a consistently welcoming and well-presented environment that supports outstanding resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
The postholder will be responsible for delivering excellent housekeeping services across allocated apartments and areas, including the following:
- Clean bedrooms, sitting rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and all assigned areas to the standards set by the Housekeeping Management Team.
- Ensure all sheets, duvets, linen, and towelling are changed upon request and presented neatly and professionally.
- Maintain walls, doors, skirting, corridors, furniture, fixtures, coverings, and fittings to the required standard.
- Keep all assigned areas clean, tidy, safe, and well presented at all times.
- Deliver a tailored resident experience, ensuring requests are handled promptly and courteously.
- Identify and report maintenance issues, damage, or hazards to the appropriate manager without delay.
- Replenish housekeeping supplies and ensure equipment is used and stored correctly.
- Support high presentation standards across both private apartments and shared / support areas where required.
Communication:
- Communicate clearly, professionally and courteously with residents, visitors, colleagues, contractors and management.
- Share relevant information with the management team promptly and accurately.
- Present information in a clear, organised, and professional manner, verbally and, where appropriate, in writing.
- Support effective two-way communication across the site, including updates on resident requests, service issues, and operational matters.
Health & Safety and Compliance
- Follow all site administration procedures in line with company and client requirements.
- Ensure operational information is reviewed regularly and kept up to date.
- Comply with all relevant Health & Safety procedures, company policies, and legal requirements.
- Promptly report and follow up on any hazards, defects, incidents, or compliance concerns.
- Support the completion of planned maintenance and compliance tasks in line with the site PPM planner and statutory requirements.
- Ensure relevant records, checks, and documentation are completed accurately and retained in accordance with company procedures.
- Complete all required site training, testing, and refresher learning within the required timeframes.
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely and in accordance with training and manufacturer guidance.
